"Look into the Future" Car Console Design

 

In 2016, I conceived a visionary car console design, which has since been echoed in contemporary automotive interiors, validating my forward-thinking approach. As an automobile enthusiast, I closely follow industry advancements. During that period, level 2 automation had been achieved, and I anticipated the imminent realization of levels 4 and 5. Consequently, I selected this direction for my project.

While I envisioned the steering wheel eventually becoming obsolete, I retained it as a redundant feature for emergency situations. My concept revolves around car-to-car connectivity; when two vehicles encounter one another, they compute the optimal solution for maximum efficiency. By allowing the system to determine priorities, we can facilitate a more effective and safer traffic environment, mitigating human error.
